Natalie Jean Hale Bennett, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2014 at her home in Hinckley, Utah. She was born in Grantsville, Utah on June 15, 1941 to Nathan Leonard and Myrta Margie Hale. She was raised in Trout Creek where she learned to love the beauties of the west desert. She attended high school in Delta, where she met the love of her life Gale Vaun Bennett. After graduation from Delta High School, she and Gale were married on April 25, 1959. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on November 13, 1993. They made their home in Hinckley, Utah.
Natalie devoted her time to raising her children and working on the family farm alongside Gale. She loved farming, gardening, and being out of doors but was most happy when her children and grandchildren were home. She was a devoted servant to her community and her church. She was active in the LDS church fulfilling many callings, both in the ward and stake. She loved her calling as Relief Society President of the Hinckley Ward. She touched the lives of all she met through her works of kindness, service and love.
Natalie is survived by her husand: Gale; daughters: Debra (John) Wagner; Elizabeth (Kim) Jorgensen; Galyn Bennett (Mark Wetzel); son: Wade (Stephanie) Bennett; sisters: Jeri (Ben) Owens; Margie (Randy) Quarnburg; Jackie Davis; brother: Terri Hale; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents: Nathan and Myrta Hale; and sister: Rosalyn.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Hinckley LDS Chapel, 188 North Main St, Hinckley. Viewings will be held Monday evening, 6-8 PM, at the Nickle Mortuary, 190 S. Center, Delta; and Tuesday, prior to the services, 9:30-10:40 AM. Burial in the Hinckley Cemetery.
