Margene Johnson Story

Margene Johnson Story, beloved mother and grandmother passed away March 31, 2014 in Delta, Utah. She was born November 23, 1937, in Delta, Utah to Austin and Madge Heyborne Johnson. Margene grew up in Delta and later moved to Spring Valley, Nevada; Gandy, Utah; Enoch, Utah and back to Delta with her family. She met Bryce J Bunker in Delta. They married on May 4, 1957 in Delta, Utah. They had three children: Cindy Bunker Molyneaux, Carson Bryce Bunker, and Shane Auk Bunker. They later divorced. Margene later married Keith Blair Belliston on January 22, 1971 in Ely, Nevada. They lived in Nephi for several years, and had her forth child, Angie Belliston Postelnicu. They later divorced. She later met and married Charles “Chuck” L. Story on September 10, 1981 in Bonham, Texas. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple in 1990. They eventually settled in Delta, Utah. Margene worked in many different jobs. She was a telephone operator for the Delta Area, and dispatcher for the Rich County Sheriff’s Office. She worked at the West Millard Care Center and for the Delta Hospital. She enjoyed serving others. Margene loved her family, friends, and her dogs.

Margene is survived by her children: Cindy (Jack) Bunker Molyneaux, Spanish Fork, Utah; Shane Auk (Dianna) Bunker, Orem, Utah; and Angie (Dan) Belliston Postelnicu, Pleasant Grove, Utah. 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother: AB (Annette) Johnson, Fillmore, UT; Ray (Susan) Johnson; and Janet (Dean) Johnson Smith, Delta, UT. She is preceded in death by her son: Carson Bryce Bunker, and husband: Chuck Story.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7, at 11:00 am, at the Delta 4th Ward Chapel, 197 S. 300 W. Viewings will be held Sunday April 6, 7-8 pm, at the Nickle Mortuary; and Monday, 9:30-10:40 am, prior to the service. Burial will be in the Delta City Cemetery.
