It is with mixed emotion that we announce the passing of Margaret Murdock. We are sad at her passing, but rejoice in the reunion with her husband and son and other loved ones.

She was born Margaret Jenene Dalley on August 8, 1936 to Abram Fitzgerald  and Sadie Buttars Dalley in Dayton, Idaho. She passed away May 27, 2014 in Provo, Utah due to complications of a stroke.
 
She spent her youth working the farm with her dad and older sisters. She would tell of stories driving the horses in the field. She met her man, Roland, when she was 18 years old and married him 2 days after her 19th birthday in the Logan Temple. Children followed, 9 total. 3 born in the 50’s, 3 in the 60’s and 3 in the 70’s. She was a fantastic mother; patient, kind, and long suffering. She was devoted to her family and attended every activity for every child and grandchild possible from baptisms to graduations.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her life of service and love was her testimony and evidence of her devotion to the Savior.

She is survived by her 9 brothers and sisters; children: Kim (Anne), Robert (Jill), Kathie (Scott) Ritter, Robin (Mason) Edwards, (Dennise) Murdock, Brian (Stephanie), Scott (Kelli), Rick (Liz), Jana (Joey) Delgado. She is further survived by 32 beloved grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way. She is preceded in death by her husband: Roland; son: Jon; grandson: Samuel.

She is a lady of great faith and beauty. We will miss her. Goodnight Pinky.

Funeral services will be in held on Monday, June 2, at 11:00 am at the Delta 3rd Ward LDS Chapel, 197 South 300 West, Delta. Viewings will be held on Sunday evening, 7-9 pm, at the Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center St, Delta; and Monday prior to the service, 9:30-10:40 am. Burial will be in the Delta Cemetery.
