In 1957, they put the homestead in Hinckley up for rent and moved to Salt Lake County where she worked at PPP and raised their children.
They retired and returned to Hinckley in 1983, where she loved working in her garden, raising pigs and having her grandchildren visit. She was a devoted Mom and Grandma. She loved family reunions, or any reason to get together with her family.
She enjoyed quilting, puzzles, a good game of garbage and playing the organ for church or the piano for many occasions. Her grandchildren fondly remember the march that she would play as her warm up song.
