Marlene Bogh Caroselli

MarleneCaroselli1.webMarlene Bogh Caroselli, age 73, passed away from the effects of bone marrow cancer on February 29, 2016, in Providence, Rhode Island. Marlene was born March 23, 1942 in Delta, Utah to Nels Joseph and Louise Parker Bogh. She attended schools in Delta, graduating from Delta High School in 1960. After graduation, she attended the College of Southern Utah, and the University of Utah. She graduated from the College of Southern Utah with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught in the public school system of Rhode Island for 29 years.

Marlene was a member of the Rhode Island Retired Teachers Association, The Red Hats of Rhode Island, the Women’s Club of Rhode Island and a more than 40 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 135. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Narragansett Ward, where she served for many years as the Ward Librarian and secretary of the Relief Society.

Marlene is survived by her husband: Charles Caroselli; son: Charles Daniel Caroselli; and sister: Julia Bogh Sharp (Carson).

Marlene’s cremated remains will be interred in the Delta City Cemetery on Wednesday, March 23, at 11:00 a.m.

Marlene received such excellent care at the “Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island” that the family encourages donations to that organization or to a favorite charity in her name.
