William "Bill" Dale Lister

William “Bill” Dale Lister, age 68, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at his home in Delta, Utah. He was born on February 17, 1950 in Delta, Utah to Elwin and Betty Works Lister. Bill married Sarah Mae Broderick on April 30, 1971 in Elko, Nevada. He was a loving, caring husband, and they shared 47 amazing years together.

Bill loved his family very much and would always try to give them the world. Bill loved everything related to cars, motorcycles, or anything unique. He had several impressive collections consisting of magazines, toy cars, paintings or whatever was old school cool. For most of his life, Bill was a businessman; and painted signs, cars or whatever anyone wanted designed with his unique artistic style. Because Bill was such a car enthusiast, he was heavily involved in the Delta Car Show (formally Classy Chassis) for over 30 years. Anyone that knew Bill, would confirm that he was the number one charismatic, stubborn, sarcastic, independent, organized, flirty, special, family oriented, man of strong convictions, and proud father, husband, grandpa and friend.

Bill’s surviving team are his brothers: Roger Lister, and Edwin Lister (Nancy), along with his sister: Diane Phillips; his sons: Tim Hurst (Sherry) and Bill Lister Jr (Jamie). He also has 12 grandkids and 17 great grandkids. Bill was proceeded in death by his parents and daughter: Joe Ann Hurst.

There will be a Remembrance Celebration to applaud his life and rejoice in the experience of knowing him in the near future.
