Previously owned and managed Fashion Elle Pet Salon (Dog Groomery) for about 6 years in Salt Lake City and owned and managed the family restaurant “Hogies” with her husband in Monticello, Utah. She wrote a column for the San Juan Record “What’s New by Mary Lou” from 1995 – 2004. She enjoyed her family gatherings, especially when a winnie roast was part of the activity.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years; 5 sons: Michael K (Celia) Hoggard, Mesquite, NV; Kenneth D (Jan) Hoggard, Bear River; W Rick (Marsha) Hoggard, Taylorsville; Steven W (Mary) Hoggard, Kaysville; L.
