On Friday, March 19, 2021 in Delta, Utah, Janet Reeve, age 80, boarded her last cruise to her heavenly home, there to be greeted by her parents and sister, Noreen. She was born on August 19, 1940 in Hinckley, Utah; the second of the four daughters of Elford Arthur and Alta Webb Reeve: Maxine, Janet, Noreen, and Susan. Janet grew up in Hinckley and graduated from Delta High School. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Education from BYU.

Janet had a love of traveling the world and traveled around the world many times. As soon as she could, she began seeing the sights and meeting new people in the many corners of the planet. She visited every continent except Antarctica. She studied many foreign languages, including Spanish, French and German. She loved going on cruises and exploring with travel groups. Every summer was filled with an itinerary of activities. She made many friends during her travels and shared her experiences with friends and family through the many postcards and letters she sent back. Janet had several boxes of pictures and letters documenting the wonderful experiences and relationships she gained throughout her life.

Janet was a dedicated and demanding teacher. Among the places she taught were American Samoa and the Salt Lake Area. In the late 1970's, she was hired to teach at Millard High School and moved to teaching at Delta High School in the mid 1980's. She cared about her students and challenged them to perform to the best of their capabilities.

A simple Burial Service will be held on Saturday, March 27, at 11:00 am, at the Hinckley Cemetery. A Gathering for friends and family will begin at 10:00 am at the Nickle Mortuary before traveling to the cemetery. Masks and Social Distancing are required.
