Anita Kaye Christensen Young, age 57, passed away suddenly on November 20, 2021 in Delta, Utah. She was born on July 19, 1964 in Fillmore, Utah, to Robert Tucker and Zoe Kesler Christensen. She grew up in Flowell with her two older brothers. She graduated from Millard High School in 1982. In her youth she loved being outdoors, especially fishing. She was popular and she loved participating in social activities and driving. She worked hard raising animals to finally earn enough money to buy her own car.
Anita eventually met the love of her life. She married Phillip Darren Young on December 14, 1985 and they were blessed with three beloved sons: Chaz, Zach and Devin. Anita loved being a Mom. She always made her home a comfortable placed for her children and their friends to gather. She loved to decorate here home and when the holidays rolled around she would go all out with festive decorations to celebrate each occasion. She loved spending time with her kids and would support them at every activity. The one thing that made her happier was when the grandkids came along. They were always the brightest spot in her life.
Anita had the most nurturing and generous spirit. She made every person feel important and cared about. We will always remember how when you got a hug from Anita, it was like she was wrapping you with every ounce of her caring soul. Anita made a deep impact on our lives. We will miss you forever!
Anita is survived by her sons: Zach and Devin; daugther-in-law: Chelsy Dawson; grandchildren: Jadeth, Kael, Alorah, Daysen; parents: Robert and Zoe Christensen; brothers: Terry and Scott; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Darren: son: Chaz; grandson: Ashton.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, at 1:00 pm, at the Delta City Cemetery. Friends unable to attend are invited to view the recorded video of the service. The link will be posted along with her obituary at www.nicklemortuary.com by Tuesday afternoon.
