Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, MariAnn Adams Trillo, returned to her heavenly home on November 11, 2022, in Delta, Utah. She was born on June 13, 1958 in Delta to loving parents, Kenneth Benjamin and LoRaine Petersen Adams. She was the third oldest of eight children. She grew up on the family farm in Sutherland, Utah. Her childhood was spent enjoying many activities with her family on the farm. MariAnn loved to learn how to do all of the things that her mother taught her. She loved seeing family and spending time with cousins. She had cherished memories of spending time in Holden with her cousins and her Aunt Colona Bennett.
From a young age, she had a love for her Savior. She attended Primary and learned all that she could. She learned a lot from the many activities in Primary. She gained talents and love for crafts. She learned how to crochet, sew, cook, and so much more. These talents she would continue to further develop in her lifetime. During her early years, MariAnn attended school in Sutherland, before all the children were moved to attend school in Delta. She liked going to school and having friends. She attended junior high and high school in Delta. She attended seminary and completed all four years. She was in the graduating class of Delta High School in 1976. After completing high school, MariAnn attended Dixie College for a short time.
MariAnn always had a desire to serve her Father in Heaven and Savior. She was called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1979-1981 in the Texas Houston Mission under the direction of President Kay H. Clifford. She served her mission faithfully. After completing her mission, she moved to the Bay Area and lived in Fremont, California with her cousins and worked for a short time.
After living in California, she returned back to Delta. She worked and attended the Delta Technical School for cosmetology. Eventually she met Antonio Trillo. They dated and became engaged. On June 13,1987 they were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. MariAnn and Antonio added to their family with their first daughter, Flora Marie, in 1990; and their second daughter, Kasha Lucia, in 1994. MariAnn loved her family. She did all she could to support her daughters in all that they did. MariAnn and Antonio later divorced in 2004, but remained good friends until her passing.
MariAnn was a hard worker. She always had to be busy. One thing about MariAnn was making wonderful friends at all her jobs. She was often found teasing and laughing with her coworkers. She worked 18 years at the Pizza House and the last thirteen years she worked at IPP, cleaning for Shields Cleaning. MariAnn was a good friend, and they all knew how much she loved her family.
MariAnn served faithfully in her church callings. Her love and testimony of her savior is a legacy that she leaves behind for her family. She is survived by her two daughters: Flora Marie (Matt) Prince, and Kasha Lucia Trillo; 5 grandchildren: Augustus, Lynette, Grace, Amelia, and Harold; ex-husband: Antonio Trillo; siblings: John K.
