Ilene Reynolds Oliver was born November 25, 1942 in Driggs, Idaho. She attended and graduated from Malad High School where she was known as an exceptional vocalist and was always performing. She loved reminiscing about the many friendships she developed during that time.

Ilene learned the value of hard work as a child working in her family’s laundry business. She put that work ethic to use by putting herself through beauty school and doing hair for many years to support her family. She later became involved in real estate and mortgage banking where she excelled due to her ability to help others with her integrity and honesty. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in which she held many service positions. She loved music and contributed her beautiful singing voice and her talent on the piano.

She loved gardening, growing nutritious foods, and sharing them with her family and friends. She dearly loved her husband, Carl, and their life together, her children, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her pets.

She passed away peacefully on January 18, 2023 at home in Orem, Utah at 80 years old and is preceded in death by her older brothers: Eldon, Carlyle, Don, and Wesley. She is survived by 7 children: Kathryn, Don, Julie, Shanna, Dixon, Karen, Alice; and her 25 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 4, at 11:00am, at the Sunset Heights 5th Ward building, 1105 West 600 South, Orem. Viewing: 9:00-10:40am, prior to the service.  Friends unable to attend are invited to view the recorded video of the service. Interment will follow at 3:00pm at Delta, Utah City Cemetery.
