WilliamClark2.webWilliam Edward Clark, age 87, passed away on May 11, 2013 in Delta, Utah. He was born January 3, 1926 in Woodrow, Utah to Rufus Bryan and Christina Schiffer Clark. Bill grew up the middle son of two sisters and 3 brothers. He was raised to farm all his life. He entered military service at the young age of 16 after getting his mother’s permission. He served in the Navy until the end of World War II.

He married Choral Robison on March 28, 1952 in Delta, then they settled in the Sugarville, Sutherland areas. Bill, his dad and brothers farmed all together, raising Alfalfa hay and seed. He farmed till he turned 81, then decided to lease out his farm.

Dad loved his family and was thoroughly surrounded by girls. He was excited when the grandkids came along and he loved each and every one of them. He loved to fish, he loved Doublemint gum, and always helping out a neighbor. After mom passed away on April 29, 1997, he was well taken care of by his daughters and best friend and brother, Bob.

Bill is survived by his daughters: Nancy (Zane) Bennett; Chris (Mike) Christensen; Deb (Dean) Fowles; Melissa (Hal) Stott; brothers: Theodore, Robert; sister: Phylis; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife: Choral; granddaughters: Julie and Dani; sister: Shirley; brother: Ray.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 15 at 11:00 AM, at the Sutherland Cemetery. Viewings will be held at the Nickle Mortuary Tuesday evening, 6:00-8:00 PM; and Wednesday morning, 9:30-10:40 AM, before traveling to the cemetery.
