Cleo Hinckley Eliason

Cleo Hinckley Eliason, age 86, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2013, in Delta, Utah surrounded by family. She was born August 22, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ira Parnell and Cleo Cranney Hinckley. She married Lincoln Robison Eliason in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on May 10, 1949. He died February 28, 2002. They were the parents of 11 children.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served two missions to Cove Fort and a two year Church Service Mission with her husband. She served as Relief Society President and in many other church callings. She was an avid supporter of Fort Deseret and belonged to the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Garden Club, and Fine Arts Club. She loved serving the people of her community.

She is survived by her sisters: Josephine of Trenton, NJ; Marjorie (Fred) of Ann Arbor, MI; her children: Martin (Sally) of Riverton; Dixon (Laura) of Deseret; Julia (Steve) of Cedar City; Tracy (Cheryl) of Deseret; Sylvia (Chance) of Woodland Hills; (Keith) of Heber City; Brian (Gail) of Deseret; Preston (Deidre) of Deseret; Maria (Ron) of Pleasant Grove; Tanya (Dan) of West Jordan; 36 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband: Lincoln; daughter: Coleen; son: Justin; sister: Harriet; and brothers: King and David.

The family wishes to thank Diamond D and the Deseret-Oasis Ward for their loving care and support.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 15, at 11 AM, at the Deseret-Oasis LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call from 9:30-10:40 AM, prior to service. Burial will be in the Deseret Cemetery.
