Kevin Spencer Swensen, age 51, unexpectedly passed away on July 31, 2024 in Salt Lake City. He was born on June 21, 1973 in Murray, Utah to Neal and Carma Ashby Swensen. Despite being born the the rare disorder of Tuberous Sclerosis, which caused uncontrolled seizures, Kevin lived a fulfilling life showcasing immense love for people and animals. He was an avid participant in the Special Olympics, skiing and bowling, where he discovered his passion. Kevin cherished moments spent by the campfire and enjoyed ATV rides and driving his golf cart to get the mail every day. His strong work ethic led Kevin to work at McDonalds 3 days a week, clearing tables and taking out the trash.
Kevin is survived by his brothers: Larry (Leslie), Delbert (Karen), Douglas (Tracy), Tony (Sondra), and Kyle (Jesica), and many nieces and nephews who always showed their love for Kevin. He was preceded in death by his brother: Scott; and his parents: Neal and Carma.
