David Alan Wilkins

David Alan Wilkins, age 25, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Salt Lake City. He was born February 27, 1988 in Delta, Utah to Alan W. and Debra Robison Wilkins

David graduated from Delta High School in 2006. After graduating he worked at Sounds Unlimited and Days Inn in Delta. He left his hometown and moved to Orem, Utah. He worked at Smiths Food and Drug Co., where he was loved and respected by his co-workers. He soon met the love of his life, Doris. Together they experienced a lifetime of love. They enjoyed exploring the world and going places. David loved bing outdoors and doing things with his friends. He had an incredible sense of humor that endeared him towards friends and family. David gave unconditionally to those in his life. His greatest contribution was being able to give the gift of life to many others.

David was a wonderful and loving son who made his parents proud. He was the best brother any sister could ever ask for.

David is survived by his parents: Alan and Deb Wilkins of Hinckley; sisters: Kristy and Alanna. He will be greatly missed by his best girlfriend and best friend, Doris Marquez. David was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was welcomed home into the loving arms of his grandparents: Horace and Pearl Wilkins; and Donald and Elaine Robison.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, at 12:00 Noon at the Hinckley LDS Ward Chapel, 188 North Main. Viewings will be held Friday evening, 7-8 PM, at the Nickle Mortuary; and Saturday morning at the church, 10:30-11:40 AM, before the service. Burial will be in the Hinckley Cemetery.
