Sam also traveled all over the United States along with his wife, Gail, friends and family. He created more adventures as he kept traveling with his wife, Sally, adding “Mexico - never again” to the list.

Sam was preceded in death by wife: Gail in 2007; daughter: Andrea in 1992; parents: Wayne Grant and Betty Rae Smith Wardle; sisters: Janice (Percy) Mounteer, Sherry (Rod) McKnight; brother: Lynn Val Wardle.
