Margaret Fay Davis Carlson

Margaret Fay Davis Carlson, age 92, passed July 14, 2013 in Parowan, Utah. She was born June 8, 1921 in Edgemont, Utah to Dean L and Margaret Muhlestien Davis. She married Wallace William Carlson on June 28, 1939 in Provo. Later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 3, 2008.

Fay attended Page Elementary School, and Lincoln High School. She lived in Edgemont, Salt Lake City, Springville, Spanish Fork, and Eskdale, UT. She always was creative in making a livelihood. Served as chairperson of the Christian Aid Service of America (CASA) charitable organization. She was an accomplished gardener of flowers and vegetables. She and her husband, Wallace, were once pictured in the January 1989 edition of National Geographic Magazine.

Fay is survived by her sons: Carl Dean; Richard Wallace; Timothy Blain; Daniel Maurice; Joel Terry; daughters: Cecilia Fay; Susan Kay; Mary Karen; Beverly Ann; brothers: Neil and Eldon Davis; sisters: Nadene Davis Bellows; Delora Davis Pugh; 28 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, at 11 AM at the Grace Christian Church, 845 West 200 South, Parowan, UT. A viewing will be held Friday morning, 9:30-10:40 AM, before the service. Burial in the Parowan Cemetery. Online condolences at www.nicklemortuary.com
