NeRee Erickson Stanworth, age 87, passed away March 13, 2014 in Delta, Utah. She was born December 9, 1926 in Sutherland to John Norman and Francis Lizette Theobald Erickson. NeRee married Conard G Stanworth on March 1, 1948 in Sutherland. Their married was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2010.
NeRee assisted Conard in farming and the dairy business. In 991, they served a full time mission to the Dalls-Fortworth Texas Temple Mission, and later served as a temple ordinance workers in the Manti Temple. She has also served in various other church positions.
She is survived by her three sons, who all reside in Delta with their families: Earl Douglas (Delores) Stanworth; Tony Lane (Kris) Stanworth; Gene Thomas (Penny) Stanworth; sister: Norma Evans, Delta; brother: Duane Erickson, Smithfield; sister: Marlene Ogden, Kaysville. She has 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson and a great-grandson.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Deseret-Oasis Ward Chapel. Viewings will be held Sunday evening, 7 - 8 PM, at the Nickle Mortuary; and Monday prior to the services, 9:30-10:40 AM. Burial will be in the Oasis Cemetery.
