Carla King Spadaro, age 59, of Hinckley passed away March 24, 2014 in Delta, Utah. She was born December 22, 1954 in Delta, Utah to Jerald A. And Cecelie M. Fielding King. She graduated from Delta High School and earned an Associate of Science degree from Dixie College. She worked 32 years for Brush Resources. She owned and trained thoroughbred racehorses. Later she enjoyed showing horses and barrel racing with her daughter. She had an incredible love for animals. If it was lost, hungry or broken, it found a home with Carla. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and cutting firewood. She was a perfectionist in embroidery, crocheting, oil painting, and cooking, and took a lot of pride in a job well done. She was an avid collector of coins, rocks and gems, and possessed the ability to see the hidden beauty in things. She always championed the underdog and bet on the long shot.
She is survived by her daughter: Stacey Lynn Lake (Randy); mother: Cecelie King; brother: Dee King (Stephanie); nephews: Jake King, Cliff King, Russ King (Bridgette). She was preceded in death by her father: Jerald King.
A Rosary for Carla will be held Sunday evening at 7:00 pm, at the Nickle Mortuary Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Delta City Cemetery.
