Benjamin Chey Perkins, age 41, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at home in Hinckley, Utah. He was born on March 18, 1973 in Boulder City, Nevada to Gerald Fay and Kathy Ferne Turpen Perkins.
He grew up in Nevada, attending elementary school in Overton, Nevada and graduating from White Pine High School in Ely. He studied drafting at Dixie College, and later worked many years as a welder. He married Emily Shelley. Together they had a daughter, Isabella. They later divorced.
Chey enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, the Denver Broncos, and ABOVE ALL spending time with his daughter, Isabella. He was also very thoughtful and enjoyed the study and discussion of Mathematics, Philosophy, and the Origin of the Universe.
He is survived by his daughter: Isabella Perkins, Delta; mother: Kathy Perkins, Hinckley; sisters: Melissa Glick, Littleton, CO; Christal Perkins, Aurora, CO; brother: Joshua Perkins, St. George; grandmother: Dorothy Baker, Colorado Springs, CO. He was preceded in death by his father: Jerry Perkins.
