Brandie Leigh Peterson, age 29, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born on January 17, 1986 in Delta, Utah to Bryan Keith and Joyce Kay Wetterick Peterson.
Brandie was in a bad car accident on March 18, 2006. She suffered a brain injury that put her in a wheel chair. She had been living in a life adjustment center, where she tried very hard to learn to walk again, but the harder she tried the more tired she became. Her physical results could not keep up with her strong will. She felt she wasn’t getting better fast enough for her, but she never gave up.
She will be deeply missed by her family. She is the middle child of five, a brother: Derrick Don Peterson, Grand Junction, CO; and an older sister: Lonna Marie Peterson, Grand Junction; two younger sisters: Shanna Rae Peterson, Grand Junction; and Lacie Jo Peterson, Lamar, CO. She is also survived by her parents: Joyce Kay and Bryan Keith Peterson of Grand Junction; her partner: James Hosman, Grand Junction; and grandma: Barbara Taylor, Hinckley.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 10, at 11 AM, at the Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center St, Delta. Viewing will be held prior to the service, 9:30-10:40 AM. Burial in the Hinckley Cemetery.
