Molly Marie Taft Anderson, age 85, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 in Winnemucca, Nevada. She was born on January 17, 1930 in Salt Lake City to Seth Barlow Taft and Marie Belle Higbee Taft. Molly married Marlow Anderson on April 15, 1953 in Salt Lake City, and then moved to Oak City. He died on July 21, 2007.
Molly was an active member of the LDS Church. She taught Primary for many years. She enjoyed her time as a member of Oak City 1st, and Winnemucca 1st Wards Relief Societies. She was a member of the Oak City Ward Choir, and loved to share her singing talent. She loved sewing and crafts, and gifted her handy work to many friends and family. Molly loved to travel, camp and fish with her family and visit with her dear friends.
She is survived by her son: Donald J. (Susan) Anderson of Winnemucca, NV; son: Lester Anderson of Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister: Shirlee Bue of Romona, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband: Marlow; son: Barlow Taft Anderson.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at the Oak City LDS Chapel, 35 East Center St. Viewing will be held 9:30-10:40, prior to the service. Burial will be in the Oak City Cemetery.
