David Harold Meinhardt, age 56, died peacefully in his sleep early Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015 in Salt Lake City. He was born January 10, 1959 in Delta, Utah to Harold and Audrey Woodbury Meinhardt. Dave married Kerri Holman. He is the father of Sabrina Holman Meinhardt, Audrey Marie Meinhardt and Cole David Meinhardt. David and Kerri later divorced.
Dave was always a big tease. He loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed working on cars. He always said he was born 100 years too late. He would rather be camping out in the canyon with his best canine buddy, Spot.
Dave is survived by his children: Sabrina, Audrey, and Cole; 3 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Diane, Cathy, Jeff, Keith, Sam and Joel. He was preceded in death by his dog: Spot; and his mother: Audrey Woodbury; brother: Cary “Skippy” Meinhardt; and sister: JoAnn Meinhardt.
Dave wanted everyone to remember the good times and celebrate his life and not mourn his passing. In pure Dave fashion, friends and family are invited to an informal viewing on Friday, May 15, beginning at 1:00 PM, at the Nickle Mortuary.
