Justin Larry Morgan, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2016 at the Delta Community Hospital surrounded by his wife, Shawna Morgan, and 4 of his 5 children. He was born on May 15, 1981 in Bountiful, Utah to Kevin Larry and Dona Lynn Thorsted Morgan. Justin graduated from Layton High School in 2000. He attended Stevens-Henager College, graduating with an Associates Degree in Administrative Networking. Justin married Shawna Marie Cline on July 27, 2008 in Delta, Utah. After moving his family to Delta, he worked as a cook at “The Rancher” Café. He loved his job, and enjoyed cooking. His dream job was to open his own restaurant. Justin loved sports. His all time favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys.
Justin is the survived by his wife: Shawna Morgan of Delta; 5 children: Sierra Morgan of Roy, Utah; Ashton, Reagan, Laila Jayde, and Xadius Morgan of Delta; mother: Dona (Kenny) Lyons of Middleton, Idaho; father: Kevin (Wendy) Morgan of Highland, Utah; sisters: Mandy (Matthew) Ditto of Logan; Katelyn (Rick) Cother of Beggs, Oklahoma; brothers: Michael, Patrick, Taylor, and Conner of Highland; grandparents: Larry and Janet Morgan of Lincoln City, Oregon; grandmother: Clarice Kerr of Middleton, Idaho. Preceded in death by grandfathers: Allen Kerr & Donald Thorsted.
Justin was a loving husband, an honest and hardworking man who is gone too early at only 35. He was a friend to all and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Rest in Paradise, Our Sweet Hero!
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 11:00 AM, at the Delta LDS Stake Center Chapel, 125 S White Sage Ave. A Viewing will be held at the Delta LDS Stake Center on Saturday, 9:30-10:40 AM prior to the service.
