Bryan Keith Peterson, age 53, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Delta, Utah. He was born on September 12, 1963 in Delta, Utah, the youngest child of William Donald and Ellen Maurine Hanson Peterson. He attended Delta High School where he participated in football. After leaving Delta High, he attended Snow Technical School studying Automotive Technology. During the summer break, he was love“struck” when he met Joyce Kay Wetterich. They immediate fell in the love. Their first date was on July 12, and they married a month later on August 15, 1981 in Delta. They had five children together. Keith worked as a farmhand and excavator. In 1995, he moved his family to Colorado where he worked for many companies as an armed security guard. Keith and Joyce moved back to Delta in 2015 after the loss of their daughter. Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing and sports, especially Colorado Rockies baseball.

Keith is survived by his wife: Joyce; sons: Derrick Don; daughters: Lonna Marie, Shanna Rae, and Lacie Jo; 9 grandchildren; brothers: Michael and David; mother-in-law: Barbara Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Brandie Leigh; sisters: Joann and Lois; father-in-law: John Wetterich.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 12 Noon, at the Nickle Mortuary Chapel, 190 South Center St, Delta. A Viewing will be held, 10:30-11:40 am, prior to services. Burial will be in the Hinckley City Cemetery.

Keith’s family encourages donations to a fund set up for him at the Millard County Credit Union to assist with funeral costs.
