Gage D. Schroeder, age 14, son of Adam and Brittni (Hoelzle) Schroeder, returned to his Heavenly Father and his sister, Taylor, on May 18, 2017 in El Paso, Texas. Gage was born on June 14, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gage was a wonderful son, big brother, and role model to many. He excelled in academics, wrestling, and was an entrepreneur from a very young age. Gage made everyone laugh with his quick wit and outgoing personality. Gage had many interests and hobbies, but his favorite thing was spending time socializing with friends and strangers.
Gage is survived by his parents: Adam Schroeder and Brittni (Hoelzle) Schroeder (El Paso, TX); brother: Talon; sister: Presley; and grandparents: Don and Mary Lou Schroeder (Logan, UT); Judy Hoelzle (Delta, UT); and Neno and Miriam Hoelzle (Delta, UT).
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, at the LDS Chapel at 670 East Redd Rd, El Paso, TX. Viewings will be held on Friday, at 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the Sunset Funeral Home, 480 North Resler Dr, El Paso, TX and Saturday at the church,3:00-4:00 p.m. Additionally, a Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 25, 5:00-6:30 p.m., at the Nickle Mortuary, 190 S. Center St., Delta, before traveling to the Delta City Cemetery for a Graveside Service and burial.
