Carol Anderson, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Provo, Utah. She was born in Delta, Utah on March 24, 1952, the third child to Christian J and Ava Nielson Anderson. She attended elementary school in Oak City then junior and senior high school in Delta. She was a skilled pianist. In high school, she played the piano for several choruses and choirs. She graduated from Utah Technical College with an Associates Degree. She went on an LDS mission to North Carolina in 1976. After returning, she worked for Associated Foods. Later, she worked as a supervisor in the data center at the Utah State Capital until her recent retirement.
She loved animals and, during her life, has fostered kittens, owned sugar gliders, many cats, several poodles and owned a parrot named Sunny.
She loved babies and took her role as “Aunt Carol” seriously.
She was very talented with her hands crocheting things like afghans, dolls, and Christmas tree skirts.
Carol will be missed by her family. She is survived by four brothers: Barry, Floyd, Jerry, and Ross; and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 11:30 a.m., at the Oak City Cemetery.
