Bud Robert Best, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in the Delta Community Hospital surrounded by his wife of 49 years and their three children. He was born in on February 9, 1941 in Nephi, Utah to Thomas Ell and Annie Irene Lovell Best. He grew up on the family farm in Leamington, Utah and graduated from Delta High School. Bud married his sweetheart, Connie Jeanne Ingram, on November 16, 1968 in the Manti LDS Temple. They raised their family in Lynndyl, Utah; where he worked as a Section Man for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 40 years. His deeply enjoyed working with horses and watching the trains go by his house.
His greatest joy was spending time with his wife and children, and took great pleasure in the friendship of his neighbors.
Bud is survived by his wife: Connie J. Ingram Best; sons: Justin and Ben Best - all three of Lynndyl; and daughter: Nikki (Gerald) Robison of Fillmore. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 4, at 11:00 AM, at the Lynndyl Cemetery, 450 East 100 North.
