Franklin Lynn Baker

September 3, 1956 — January 13, 2018

Franklin Lynn Baker, age 61, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Provo, Utah after battling pneumonia. He was born on September 3, 1956 in Dos Palos, California to Clay Franklin and AdaLee Redding Baker. He grew up in Los Banos, California in the San Joaquin Valley along side his half brother, Robert Joslyn. He graduated from Los Banos High School. He married Cynthia Anne Freeman on August 10, 1977 in Carson City, Nevada. They had four children together. They later divorced.

Frank loved working on engines, cars and motorcycles. He worked many years on the road as a truck driver. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He took them fishing and hunting, and enjoyed his afternoons together watching NASCAR. When his daughter passed away as a young mother, he devoted plenty of his time to take care of his granddaughter.  He loved to babysit and would even clean the house for his kids. He was our special “Pops” and will be deeply missed.

Frank is survived by his children: Samuel (Elizabeth Bishop) Baker, Katie (Justin) Poulsen, Amy Baker, all of Delta, Utah; son-in-law: Dave Mohr, Tooele, UT; 14 grandchildren; brother: Robert Joslyn. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter: Elizabeth Anne Mohr.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.nicklemortuary.com
