David Kimble Evans

David Kimble Evans, age 65, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Delta, Utah. He was born on April 4, 1952 in Delta, Utah, the second of six children of Grant Lovell and Immogene Tullis Evans. He grew up in several communities in California as moves were required due to his father’s service in the US Air Force. He graduated from Granger High School in Salt Lake City. When he was 16, he helped his grandfather remodel his home. From that he gained a love of working with his hands and being involved in construction. After high school, he studied to be a machinist and became a Journeyman Electrician. After working many years in Salt Lake, he retired and moved to Springville in 2003. In 2015, he came full circle and returned to his family roots in Hinckley.

David enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, but his greatest passion was Denver Broncos football, and he never missed the chance to let his Orange and Blue colors fly. He was a great uncle enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

David is survived by his sisters: Jeanie Cranney and Kathy Carter; brother: Jim Evans; 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Gary Lynn Evans and Kenneth L Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, at 11:00 am, at the Nickle Mortuary Chapel, 190 South Center St, Delta. Viewings will be held Monday morning, 10:00-10:40 am, prior to the service. Burial will be at the Hinckley Cemetery.
