William Carl Webb

Carl Webb passed away the morning of Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Delta Community Hospital at age 78. He was born on May 5, 1940, to Carl “Spencer” Webb and Alice Caroline Olson Webb in Deseret, Utah. He grew up on the family farm in Deseret. He graduated from Delta High School, then attended Southern Utah University. He served a three-year LDS Mission in Sweden. With a desire to experience more of the world; before returning home, he spent an additional summer traveling around Europe. He went to many countries, but his favorites were the French Riviera, Monaco, Ireland, and the former Communist-Occupied East Germany.

He married Judy Juwain Jenson of Salt Lake City on April 15, 1965 in the Manti LDS Temple. They had six children together. They were later divorced.

Carl spent his life working hard on his farm in Deseret. He enjoyed participating in stock shows with his brother; as well as with his children and grandchildren, winning many Grand and Reserve championship titles across the state. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his grandkids, as well as rooting for the Utah Jazz. He drove in the first Demolition Derby in the Delta area and went on to win many trophies throughout the years. In the last few years he has lived at the Millard Care and Rehabilitation Center. He has enjoyed being able make new friends and participate in many activities. While there, he served as Resident Council President, where he enjoyed welcoming new residents and their families to the community.

He is survived by his children: Jodilyn (Dale) Turner, Karalee Webb, Natalie Webb, Shawn Webb, and Tyler Webb; grandchildren: Emily Parr, Danielle Webb, Tristan Webb, Braxton Webb and Mila-Rose Webb; siblings: Anna Mae (Reed) Bunker, Jay (Joyce) Webb. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth; daughter, Becky; mother, Alice; and father, Spencer.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 6, at 11:00 am, at the Deseret-Oasis LDS Church, 3423 W 4500 S. Viewings will be held Thursday, 7:00-8:00 pm, at the R. J. Law Community Center, 75 W. Main St; and Friday, 9:30-10:40 am, prior to the service. Burial will be in the Deseret Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Millard Care and Rehabilitation Center. You all have given so much time, care and love to our dad and we will forever be grateful.
