Chad M. Phillips of Wallsburg, Utah, age 53, graduated on to our Heavenly Father on August 27, 2019, in Hinckley, Utah. Chad resided in Wallsburg and surrounding areas most of his life. He moved to Hinckley in 2006 where he resided until he passed. Chad married Julie (Cieslak) Phillips in 1990, they had 6 children together. They later divorced in 2016. Chad was a diesel mechanic most of his life. He had a love for solving problems and working with his hands. After becoming disabled, he picked up a love of reading, and creating model cars. Chad was very artistic and creative and did well drawing and writing short children stories. His final days were spent getting to know his grandchildren better by going on adventures with them, teaching them about animals, telling them stories, and overall just building memories. Chad also loved to joke, laugh, make others laugh, and always tried to make everyone feel welcome and loved. He also loved to help anyone in anyway that he possibly could. He was definitely the definition of someone who would give his shirt off his back to someone else in need. Chad was very proud of his children and grandchildren and tried to tell them frequently.
He is survived by his children and grandchildren: Kristen (Bryan) Christensen and their 5 children; Jessica (Kasey) Olcott and their 4 children; Jennifer Phillips and her son; Joshua (Kinley) Phillips; Jacob (Macy) Phillips; and Jared Phillips. His siblings: Kathy Gilson, Dennis Phillips, Max Phillips, Susan Muir, and Blaine Phillips; as well as all of his “adopted” children He was preceded in death by his parents: Rulon Phillips and Leola Bigelow Phillips.
Graveside Services will be on held Saturday August 31, 2019 at the Wallsburg Utah Cemetery among close family and friends.
