Riggs Denton Peterson, age 2, suddenly passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019. Since his birth on June 4, 2017 in Provo, Utah; Riggs was the light of his family and was constantly keeping everyone on the move. He loved riding horses with his dad and sister. He loved working with the cows and going with his grandpas and helping feed the animals. He loved to rough house, whether it was playing tackle (football), or wrestling with his dad, sister, and cousins.
He was the greatest gift and joy to his parents that they could have ever hoped for in the short two years that he was with them. Words cannot describe how much he will be truly and deeply missed by his family and loved ones.
Riggs is survived by his father: Denton Peterson; his mother: Jerica Nelson Peterson; and his 5 year old sister: Braylee Peterson; grandparents: Bill and Shauna Nelson, Clint and Rebecca Peterson; and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 20, at 11:00 am, at the Delta LDS Stake Center, 125 S White Sage Ave. Viewings will be held on Thursday, 6:00-8:00 pm, at the Nickle Mortuary; and Friday, 9:30-10:40 am, prior to the service. Burial will be at the Delta City Cemetery.
