Eleanor Ruth Hague Trent, age 76, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2012 at the Millard Care & Rehabilitation, her home for the past eight years.
Eleanor was born in Los Angeles, California on February 12, 1936 to James Price Hague and Madeline Campiglia. She had three siblings. She worked as a housekeeper and nursing aide in earlier days.
She married Lieutenant "Lieu" Theodore Trent in 1964 and they had five children. They moved from Oklahoma to Oak City in the early 2000's. Lieu passed away in Delta on December 8, 2001.
At the care center Eleanor knew most staff by name and frequently expressed concern for them. She had a sharp memory, enjoyed music, and most of all, enjoyed being an observer of what was happening each day. She will be surely missed.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, at 3:30 PM, at the Millard Care & Rehabilitation's chapel, exact date and time are pending. Details will be posted here when available. Burial will be in the Oak City Cemetery.
