Cade Alan Riding, age 40, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Sutherland, Utah. He was born on April 17, 1981 in Delta Utah to Alan K. and Shariden Day Riding. He married his best friend Shai Lynn Robison on March 1, 2002 in Delta, Utah. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple in January of 2009.
Cade and Shai have 2 children: Oakley Shai (17) and Kix Cade (12). Cade loved his wife, kids, farming, and hunting - in that order. Cade was always supportive of his family. He loved watching his kids play sports, and spent many weekends driving his family to those events. Spending time with his family was his favorite thing to do. He also loved when the weather got cooler, especially when he could spend the days going goose hunting.
To know Cade was to love him. He had the most generous heart and was willing to assist anyone who needed help, and he did it all without needing any recognition. In his way, he was just quietly Christlike.
He is survived by his loving wife: Shai; his beautiful children: Oakley and Kix; his parents: Alan and Shariden; his parents-in-law: Scott and Marilu Robison; siblings: Jolie Thomas, Alecia (Kirt) Turner, Shanda (Klell) Ekins, Ryan (Emma) Robison, Tiffany (Dan) Brooks, Jenna (Dustin) Dobson, Whitney (Brent) Lee, Morgan (Cody) Yates; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, at 11:00 am, at the Sutherland LDS Chapel, 2650 North 3000 West. Gatherings for Friends and Family will be held on Friday evening, 6:00-8:00 pm, at the Nickle Mortuary; and Saturday, 9:30-10:40 am, prior to the service. Burial will be in the Sutherland Cemetery.
