Patty Lee DeCamp Warren, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Delta, Utah. She was born on August 15, 1959 in National City, California, the youngest of the three children of Suzanne Gerffoz DeCamp and Thomas Francis DeCamp, Jr. Patty grew up in Kearns, Utah and then moved to Delta, Utah as a teenager and graduated from Delta High School in 1977.
Patty spent many years working as a truck driver. She was a hard worker and had a tough spirit. She took great pride in her effort to do “a hard man’s job”. She also was a caring and supportive mother to her two sons. She enjoyed being outdoors camping and fishing with her kids. She loved family get-togethers and cookouts. Patty is half Kiowa, and enjoyed learning of and involving herself in her Native American culture. She also enjoyed good food, and was especially a connoisseur of desserts. Patty loved all animals and had a number of cherished dog companions. She will always be remembered for her sense of fun and playful personality.
In these recent years, Patty met the love of her life, Michael Glen Smith. They had many wonderful times sharing each others company, he was a great support to her, and they made a very happy couple. They were engage to be married at the time her unfortunate passing.
Patty is survived by her sons: Willy Pridgen (Jennifer) and John Pridgen; fiancee: Michael Glen Smith; sister: Debby (Don) Fuller; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister: Cathy Jelsma.
