Michael Francis Smith, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Delta, Utah. He was born on April 5, 1946 in Provo, Utah to Francis Lougy and Marie Dean Smith. He married Linda L Bird on April 5, 1962 in Provo, Utah. Together they raised four beloved sons.
Mike loved to fish and hunt and occasionally practice at the shooting range. He also enjoyed spending his time gold mining. In his younger years, Mike worked as a skilled general contractor. Above all, he enjoyed family gatherings. He deeply loved all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his wife: Linda; sons: Michael Glen Smith and David Smith Majers; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son: Roger Dean Smith; and in his passing, also lost his son: Ronald Bryan Smith.
Michael was a wonderful man, father, and grandfather and will be missed by many.
