Beth Ann Johnson Ahlstrom, age 86, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Sandy, Utah. She was born on October 20, 1926 to John C. and Leona L. Bredsguard Johnson in Monroe, Utah. She married John W. Ahlstrom on November 25, 1947 in Ely, Nevada. They later solemnized their marriage in the St. George LDS Temple on June 12, 1951.
She is survived by her sister: Irene Bruun; brother: Rex (Eda) Johnson; daughter: Marlene (Shirley) Christensen; son: Roy (Sharon) Ahlstrom; daughters: Dorothy (Kelvin) Thacker; and Jody Ahlstrom; 29 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and eternal companion, John; three sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:30 am, at the Sutherland 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 2620 North 3000 West, Sutherland Utah. Viewing from 10:00-11:10 am, prior to services. Interment will be in the Sutherland Cemetery.
