Sharon Lee Bishop Davis

Sharon Lee Bishop Davis, age 71, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 in Delta, Utah. She was born on August 27, 1951 in Longview, Washington to Dale S. and Launita Helen Slaughter Bishop. Sharon was the eldest of six children. Her family moved to Hinckley when she was 3 years old, she attended Hinckley Elementary, and graduated from Delta High School.

She loved her animals, especially her horses, dogs, and cat. She enjoyed drawing and painting pictures, doing embroidery work, making and gifting many pillowcases and kitchen towel sets to her family and friends. She liked to follow the horse races, basketball games, old western shows, and she loved to read. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked as a CNA at the West Millard Hospital and Care Center. Later, she obtained her RN through the Weber outreach program at Dixie College in St. George, where she lived and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. Sharon married and later divorced LeRoy Davis. She returned home to Delta after she retired, happy to spend her last years closer to her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her three sons: Troy (Ronda) Davis; Cody Davis; Rory (Kimberlee) Davis; grandchildren: Bradden Davis, Kinlie Davis, Tyler Davis, Porche Sagendorf, Gage Davis, and 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Tom (Tamra) Bishop; Sandra (Ivan) Christensen; Joyce (Clifton) Hair; Richard (Telina) Bishop; and sister-in-law: Rebecca Bishop. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother: Dennis; and grandson: Taylor Sam Davis.

At Sharon’s request there will be no public funeral services. The family will hold a celebratoin in honor of her life at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Millard County Care and Rehab Center for their care during her final days, as well as Nickle Mortuary for their service.
