Elizabeth "Betty" Aline Schuhardt Remington

March 15, 1924 — August 4, 2013

Elizabeth "Betty" Aline Schuhardt Remington, age 89, passed away peacefully on the morning of August 4, 2013. She was born March 15, 1924 in Terre Haute, Indiana to William and Anna Trine Schuhardt. She married Norman Edward Remington on August 19, 1944 in Starke, Florida. Norman passed away November 8, 1994.

In 1963, Betty along with her husband and three children, moved from Indiana to Santa Ana, California. They made California their home for twenty-three years before retiring and moving to Delta, Utah. They loved living in Delta and remained there for the rest of their lives.

Betty is survived by her daughters: Sandy Keef, Menifee, CA; Judi (Ron) Haag, Delta, UT; son: Stacey (Teri Lyn) Remington, Farmington, UT; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister: Wilma Thompson.

The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the nurses and staff at Millard Care and Rehabilitation where she resided for the past four months. She really valued all the friendships she made with the staff and other residents.

A casual viewing will be held at Nickle Mortuary on Friday, August 9, from 11:00 to 12:00, followed by a short Graveside Service. She will be buried next to her husband in the Delta Cemetery.
