Marion George Talbot

June 24, 1953 — October 3, 2013

Marion George Talbot, age 60, of Hickley, Utah and Bridger Valley, Wyoming; returned to his heavenly home on October 3, 2013 in Delta, Utah. He was born on June 24, 1953 in Hinckley to Harold Dean and Carolyn “Kelly” Dean Dillenbeck Talbot. He married Lynmarie Bennett on May 22, 1982 in Hinckley. They later divorced.

Marion was a meatcutter by profession, being taught by his father. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, riding horses and raising cattle. He loved to cook and was very good at it. He was a board member of the Bridger Valley Electric Association and a member of the Bridger Valley Lion’s Club. He loved to serve in his community.

He was a devoted father and grandfather and has created many fond and loving memories.

Marion is survived by his daughter: Melynda (Ted) Parkyn; three grandchildren: Kaylynn, Bryce, and Sebastian; mother: Kelly; sister: Deon Ekins; brothers: Ken, Craig, and Mark Talbot. He was preceded in death by his father: Dean Talbot.

Marion is greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Hinckley LDS Chapel, 188 North Main in Hinckley. Viewings will be held Sunday evening, 7-8 PM, at the Nickle Mortuary, 190 S. Center St; and Monday morning at the church, 9:30-10:40 AM.  Burial in the Hinckley Cemetery.
