David Spencer Pedockie, age 79, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, at his home in Delta, Utah, surrounded by his family and loving wife.
David was born on December 24, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Pete Wesley and Leota Irene Roll Pedockie. David lived a life marked by dedication—to his country, his work, and his passions. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, a chapter of his life that reflected his deep love for his country. Upon returning home from service, he met the love of his life, Vicky Lynne Moorehouse. They were married on March 6, 1971 in Elko, Nevada. Together they built a life filled with shared adventures and quiet joys in places such as Salt Lake City; Kemmerer, Wyoming; and ultimately Delta, Utah—the place they chose to call home for the remainder of their lives.
David was a hardworking man who wore many hats throughout his career. He drove trucks and worked as a steel fabricator—professions that suited his strong work ethic and hands-on skills. But beyond his professional life, David found true joy in classic cars. An avid enthusiast and builder, he poured countless hours into restoring and showing classic automobiles. His craftsmanship and passion were evident in every vehicle he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Leota and Pete Pedockie; brothers: Ken Pedockie, Jimmie Pedockie, and Robert "Bob" (Vickie) Pedockie; and sister: Carolyn. He is survived by his half-sisters: JanaLe (Lawrence) Fox and Carlene Tuft.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Delta/Fillmore IHC Home and Hospice team for their compassionate care during David’s final days.
May David’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting tribute to a life well lived.
Death could not keep David separate from his love, Vicky, long. No public services.
