Vicky Lynne Moorehouse Pedockie

Vicky Lynne Moorehouse Pedockie, age 73, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, at her home in Delta, Utah, surrounded by her family. Vicky was born on July 3, 1951, in Torrington, Wyoming, to Harley and Doris Lucille Artrup Moorehouse. Vicky lived a life marked by creativity, compassion, and deep devotion to those she loved.

Throughout her career, Vicky worked in the insurance industry, where her dedication and work ethic were evident to all who knew her. However, it was outside of work where her vibrant spirit truly shone. A gifted artisan with a passion for creating beauty with her hands, Vicky found joy in gardening, crocheting, sewing, and any project that allowed her creativity to flourish. She was also an avid reader and cherished the opportunity to explore new places through travel.

Vicky married the love of her life, David Spencer Pedockie, on March 6, 1971 in Elko, Nevada. One of Vicky’s greatest joys was time together traveling with David. They shared countless adventures and a mutual love for car shows—proudly displaying David’s handiwork and celebrating their shared passions. Their bond was unbreakable; so deep was their connection that Vicky followed David in death just 38 hours after his passing.

Vicky’s heart was as expansive as her talents. She consistently put others before herself and cared deeply for those around her. Her beloved dogs held a special place in her heart—they were not just pets but cherished companions she considered her children.

Vicky is survived by her sister: Candice S. Moorehouse. She was preceded in death by her loving husband: David Pedockie; her parents: Doris and Harley Moorehouse; brothers: Terry (Pam) Moorehouse and Joseph Moorehouse; and the many dogs who brought joy to her life and now await her at the rainbow bridge.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Delta/Fillmore IHC Home and Hospice team for their compassionate care during Vicky’s final days.
