Glenda Irene Cropper Roundy Conk, age 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 as a result of a stroke. Glenda was born the oldest of 6 children to Mahonri Bishop Cropper and Erma Ekins Cropper on January 22, 1929 in Hinckley, Utah. Glenda attended grade school and high school in Hinckley and later attended Brigham Young University. She served a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the East Central States Mission. She had a very strong testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ and served in many callings throughout her life in all the auxiliaries of the church.

She married Howard W Roundy on February 18, 1952 in the Manti Temple. She supported him on the farm and in his Lion’s Club adventures until his death in 1988. Glenda had many talents that blessed the lives of those around her. She had a beautiful singing voice and would sing with choirs and duets or trios. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and involved in Family History. She had an amazing talent for sewing and was willing to do mending or prom dress adjustments for anyone that knocked on her door.

Glenda and Howard raised 5 children on the family farm and made sure they each knew how to work and with Glenda working at First Security Bank they were taught the value of a dollar. After Howard’s passing Glenda served as a missionary at Cove Fort, she truly loved serving the Lord.

Glenda had been a widow for 14 years when she married an old high school flame, Donald Ray Conk. They spent 18 years together enjoying gardening, family history, and camping with friends until his passing in 2020.

Glenda is survived by her sons: Scott (Connie) Roundy, Joe (Marilyn) Roundy; and daughters: Barbara (Jody) Marchant, Cheryl (Paul) Bennett, and Pat Roundy; brother: Gaylen (Kathy) Cropper; sister: MaryEllen (Aaron) Evans; sister-in-law: Ann Cropper; brother-in-law: Chuck Sledge; 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and Chase on the way.
